Beulah Baptist Church
The Bridge is the student ministry at Beulah Baptist Church serving students sixth grade through twelfth grade.

Our Identity

Our student ministry is called "The Bridge" because we believe that our ministry serves as a bridge for students to encounter the gospel in hopes that they may receive this wonderful truth and begin a relationship with Jesus. Our ministry verse reflects this same idea; it is 2 Corinthians 5:20, which says, "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."  This verse is also where we get our vision . . .

Our Vision

Our vision is for all students in and around the Greenpond community to be reconciled to Christ: meaning, we want all students to receive Christ as their Savior and begin a personal relationship with Him. We believe this is the greatest thing that we could help lead a student in. We pray that God will continue to bless our ministry and allow this vision to come to fruition. However, we also believe that this vision requires diligence from us in how we practice ministry and that is why have our approach . . .

Our Approach

Our approach is threefold:
1) Building Relationships - We believe that our ministry is built on relationships. In order to engage students with the gospel, we try to make them feel cared about and listened to as we get to know them better in our set meeting times. We hope that as we do this, it reflects the love of Christ and creates more receptivity in their hearts for the gospel.
2) Teaching Truth - We believe that students at this age crave truth and authenticity, so we desire to present the truth consistently and in an engaging manner. We do this by engaging in topics that students are encountering and have questions about in this stage of their life and approaching them with a faith-based perspective rooted in scripture. We hope that this will bring those who do not know Jesus to him and grow those who already know him.
3) Making Disciples - We believe that students, and all believers, need relationships with believers who have been walking closely with Jesus for much longer than they have. We hope that these relationships built in small group settings will serve as foundations to students growing in their faith and eventually lead to students being able to lead those younger than them as they get older.

The Bridge

The Bridge serves as our regular youth service on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:00 pm. During this time, students have time to hangout together, play a group game, participate in worship together, and hear a message, This time serves as a great opportunity for students to worship in a space that is designed specifically for them.

Bridge Groups

Bridge Groups meet on Sunday Nights from 6 - 7 pm, and they serve as a safe space for students to develop mentorship relationships with their small group leaders and foster a sense of community with other students of their same age and gender.

Sunday School

Sunday School meets at 9:30 am before our regular church service 10:30 am. This is a great opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge of scripture and faith as we spend time diving deep into various topics in more of a classroom setting. However, we definitely still take time to play games and add a fun aspect to the lessons through some experiential learning.

 . . . and lots and lots of F-U-N!!!
